The kids are back in
school! Time to celebrate!
Maggie's
Closet presents Mom's Night Out. You have been taking care of the
kids all summer, so now it's time to get away with the girls! Come celebrate
at the new location for Maggie's Closet in downtown Woodstock. Owners
Maggie and Lynn will host a night out for Moms on Friday, August 12 beginning
at 7 p.m. Stop in and preview fall fashions and accessories. Gourmet appetizers
will be served. Then move on to The Whole Nine Yarns to learn basic knitting
and see some of the newest yarns and styles in this great new store. Afterwards
head on down to The Serene Bean for samplings of delicious coffees and
desserts. Great door prizes! Maggie's Closet is located at Parkside Plaza,

End of Summer Party Night at The Shops at Eagle Pointe. On Friday,
August 19 from at 7 - 9:30 p.m., start at The Butcher's Block and progress
through the entire shopping center for food, drinks and a good time! The
Butcher's Block will have a wine tasting and information on pairings for
your next big event. Then, the next stop is Cedars Taverna for samplings
of their great Indian and Mediterranean cuisine. Stonebridge Tavern will
be next, and last but not least, Decio's with live music, food and wine

All Crafters. Woodstock will be home to the First Annual Fall Antique
and Flea Festival at The Old Tomlin Farm off Arnold Mill Road on October
22. If you want to participate as a crafter, antique or junque dealer

at Dealer's Delight. Also, this is a great event for a church or school
bake sale as food vendors are welcome.
Locomotion
Nights at the Botanical Gardens. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is pleased
to announce its summer exhibit, Locomotion in the Garden. The Garden will
remain open until 9 p.m. every Tuesday through October. Enjoy the model
trains, miniature railroad and magical landscape during the late afternoon
and cool dusk and twilight hours. The Botanical Gardens is located at
1345 Piedmont Ave. NE, in Midtown. Regular admission is $12 for adults,
$9 for seniors and students and $7 for children. Children under three
