It’s time again for the Wildlife Action
Spring Instructional Camping Trip (ICT). The Spring ICT, hosted by
Wildlife Action of Georgia on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, is a
chance for children ages 6 – 12 to learn the basics of camping.
Children will have the opportunity to learn or hone
skills in archery, canoeing, and other basic camping crafts. While on
the ICT, campers will meet the Hawk Lady, sit in on a reptile class, go
on an “Owl Prowl,” sing campfire songs, and eat s’mores!
Wildlife Action is a non-profit, conservation organization dedicated
to educating children about the outdoors. The cost of the ICT is $25 per
child for members and $35 per child for non-members and includes
instructors, equipment, meals, drinks, tents (if you do not have one)
and activities.
Family memberships for Wildlife Action of Georgia are $40 per year,
which includes year-round use of the facility and discounts. For more
information or reservations, call Linda Grubbs at (770) 516-9371.
