Homeschoolers of Woodstock (HOW), is a support group run by volunteers. The group has over 70 families with activities geared toward children from kindergarten to high school. HOW members receive a monthly newsletter indicating the current field trips, community outreach, club projects, Student Council and "Teen Day" meetings for older kids and weekly playgroups for younger kids.
Each spring HOW offers national standardized testing. Our annual Family Night showcases the accomplishments of the students and yearbooks are distributed. Each Wednesday HOW offers classes to approximately 100 students. For the 2001-02 school year Science classes will be offered. Kindergarten through sixth grade classes are taught as a co-op (parent taught). Seventh through tenth grade classes are taught by a science teacher for a tuition.
