American Red Cross
Baby-Sitting

This course is ideal for current and future baby-sitters. It will teach important childcare skills to help supervise and keep younger children safe. Each participant will receive a manual, a baby-sitter's handbook, and an official certification. This program is for children ages 11 . 15, and the cost is $20 plus $15 for supplies. Tang Soo Do

This form of martial art is for everyone, children, teens and adults. It builds self-confidence, discipline, self-defense capabilities, and more. It is also a fun way to get in shape and stay in shape. First class is FREE. This program is for ages 6 to adult and the cost is $45 per month for 2 days a week and $30 per month for 1 day a week. Senior Aerobics Program

The CRPA offers a fitness program specifically designed for Seniors on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. For more information, call Carol Brock, (770) 924-7768.

Hobgood Park

Hobgood Park is a wonderful facility located at the north entrance of Towne Lake. It is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It features four lighted softball fields, a lighted playground, four lighted tennis courts, a ½-mile jogging trail, two pavilions with grills, and six youth softball fields. Recreation Center

The Recreation Center is located at the South Annex at 7545 Main Street in Woodstock. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Center is closed Sundays. The Center has several rooms available for rent including the Aerobics Room, Community Room, Gymnasium, Stage, Warming Kitchen and Pavilion.

Silver Roamers Club

If you enjoy meeting people, visiting sites and having a great time, then why not join the Silver Roamers Club! The Club meets once a month to discuss upcoming trips and to visit with each other. Benefits of membership include 20% discounts on all trips and chances to win prizes by accumulating miles in the Roamer Mileage Club. Membership is open to adults 55 and older and costs $20 per year. Join the Silver Roamers on Tuesday, July 10 for a trip to the State Capital. Don't miss this chance to tour a National Historic Landmark in Downtown Atlanta.
