ROSE CREEK LIBRARY
HAS
MUCH TO OFFER

Library Cards are free for Cherokee County residents! To receive a library card, valid at any of the three-county Sequoyah Regional Libraries, all you have to do is come to the library, show proof of residence and identification and you're set to check out books for up to two weeks!

The Rose Creek Public Library has used books for sale! Hardcover books sell for only $1 — $3, paperbacks $.50 and magazines for $.10. There's a used book cart right at the entrance of the library. Come check it out!

The Rose Creek Public Library also accepts tax-deductible donations of used books. Some of the books will be used in the Rose Creek Public Library, some will be sent to other Sequoyah Regional Library System Libraries and some will be sold with the proceeds being used to buy new books.

You can even purchase a book to be placed in the library in memory or honor of someone you love for as little as $25, and it's tax-deductible!

The Libraries are wonderful resources and offer many services including reference assistance, computers with internet access, children's programs, genealogy and local history information, a career center, large print books, books on tape, a community meeting room, study rooms, low vision readers, tax forms, voter registration and many special events.

If you are interested in helping further, you can join The Friends of the Library, Rose Creek Chapter, a volunteer organization that promotes projects and develops opportunities for the library, reaching beyond the scope of its limited budget. To become a member of the Friends of the Library, Rose Creek Chapter, pick up an application at the Library.
