Parent's Night Out

Enjoy a night out on the town while the kids enjoy an evening full of fun, food and freedom at the CRPA Activities Center. On Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m., children ages 6 . 12 are invited to participate in gymnastics, games, movies and more. Parents are required to check their child(ren) in and out. Senior Aerobics Program

Adventures Express Winter
Day Camp

School's out!! But the kids don't have to stay at home and be bored all day. Bring them to the Recreation Center during Christmas break for Holiday and New Year fun! There will be arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, movies, sports and more. Also, two field trips will take place during the break, one of which will be skating. Each child needs to bring a lunch and two snacks daily. Drinks are provided at lunch only. Drop off time is 7 to 9 a.m., camp activities are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pickup is from 4 to 6 p.m. The cost is $20 per day and is for ages 6 —- 12. Space is limited; please register ASAP. With Santa

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus . . . Don't let the kids miss this wonderful opportunity on Saturday December 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. Enjoy a pancake breakfast with Kris Kringle himself. Breakfast is served from 9 to 10 a.m. and Santa will be available to hear wish lists and take pictures starting at 10 a.m. Advanced registration is required; please register ASAP. Silver Roamers Club

If you enjoy meeting people, visiting sites and having a great time, then why not join the Silver Roamers Club! The Club meets once a month to discuss upcoming trips and to visit with each other. Benefits of membership include discounts on all trips and chances to win prizes by accumulating miles in the Roamer Mileage Club. Membership is open to adults 55 and older and costs $20 per year. On Tuesday, December 11 through Thursday, December 13 the Silver Roamers will take a trip to Pigeon Forge and The Dillard House. Don't miss the opportunity to see a Christmas in the mountains. Enjoy a family style lunch at The Dillard House and drive through the Great Smoky Mountains. During the trip, enjoy The Louise Mandrell Christmas Show, and Ron Blackwood and the Blackwood Quartet at the Mandrell Theatre. A dinner at The Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant and admission to The Southern Nights Christmas Music Show is scheduled. The cost is $250 for members and $275 for non-members. Hobgood Park

Hobgood Park is a wonderful facility located at the north entrance of Towne Lake. It is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It features four lighted softball fields, a lighted playground, four lighted tennis courts, a ½-mile jogging trail, two pavilions with grills, and six youth softball fields. Recreation Center

The Recreation Center is located at the South Annex at 7545 Main Street in Woodstock. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Center is closed Sundays. The Center has several rooms available for rent including the Aerobics Room, Community Room, Gymnasium, Stage, Warming Kitchen and Pavilion.
