Parent's Night Out
Enjoy a night out on the town while the
kids enjoy an evening full of fun, food and freedom at the CRPA Activities
Center. On Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m., children ages 4 - 12 are invited
to participate in gymnastics, games, movies and more. Reservations should
be made by 6 p.m. Wednesday. Parents are required to check their child(ren)
in and out. Payment will be made at pick up. The cost is $3 per child

Dinner and a Movie
Drop your pre-teens off for a night out.
Bring your friends for a night without Mom and Dad. On Friday, January
25 at 6 p.m., go see a new movie at the Cherokee 16 Cinema and have dinner
at the Mellow Mushroom. Sign up now, space is limited to 12 participants
ages 12 - 14. The cost is $22 and includes transportation, movie and dinner.

KAOS Days
Do you need a place to take your child
when school is out but you aren't off from work? On January 21 and February
18, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. bring them to the Recreation Center for one
day of camp during our Kids Are Outta School Days. Each day will be filled
with games, arts and crafts, field trip to the movies and more. Children
will need to bring a lunch and two snacks. Early registration is required.
The cost is $20 per child per day for ages 6 - 12. For more information,

Mom's Morning
Out
Moms, this is your chance to have a morning
for yourself. On the second and fourth Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
go shopping, have coffee with a friend, pamper yourself or just go back
home for a little quite time. Kids will participate in age appropriate
games, such as tumbling, movies, crafts and more. The cost is $35 per
month for children ages 2 - 5. For more information, call Betsy Allgood

up for the program to commence.
Senior Aerobics Program
The CRPA offers a fitness program specifically
designed for Seniors on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 until

New Year's Resolution Pot Luck Lunch
Kick off 2002! On January 3 at 12 p.m.
come and enjoy a pot luck lunch with friends. This is a perfect time to
get New Year's resolutions underway. The CRPA will provide the meat,
so bring a dish to pass around.
Silver Roamers Club
If you enjoy meeting people, visiting sites
and having a great time, then why not join the Silver Roamers Club! The
Club meets once a month to discuss upcoming trips and to visit with each
other. Benefits of membership include discounts on all trips and chances

miles in the Roamer Mileage Club. Membership is open to adults 55 and

On Tuesdays, January 8 - 29 come and participate
in the Seniors Creative Corner. Exciting creations will be made and ready
to take home when class is over. The cost is $48 per session and supply

Hobgood Park
Hobgood Park is a wonderful facility located
at the north entrance of Towne Lake. It is open every day from 7 a.m.
to 10 p.m. It features four lighted softball fields, a lighted playground,
four lighted tennis courts, a ½-mile jogging trail, two pavilions with
grills, and six youth softball fields. For more information on Hobgood

Recreation Center
The Recreation Center is located at the South
Annex at 7545 Main Street in Woodstock. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays
from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays
from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Center is closed Sundays. The Center offers
a variety of programs for resident and has several rooms available for
rent including the Aerobics Room, Community Room, Gymnasium, Stage, Warming
Kitchen and Pavilion.
