TOWNE LAKE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

Member Spotlight

General Chiropractic

From the

Towne Lake Business Association

Towne Lake area customers expect nothing less than the best quality services and products from area businesses. With this in mind, the Towne Lake Business Association (TLBA) has set the focus for this year on marketing and customer service for our member businesses.

All of our Lunch 'N' Learn workshops will carry this theme. We urge and respectfully ask for your help as well. We are scheduling workshop leaders for these topics, and we realize that there is a wealth of knowledge within our own community. If you feel that you may be able to contribute in these areas or if you simply want to attend one of our workshops, please call us at (770) 517-8210, ext. 550. The majority of our members do not belong to national or corporate chains that have the resources to provide this training. Through guest workshop leaders and leaders within our membership, we are striving to provide guidance in these areas.

In today's business world, customer expectations are high and the level of competition leaves no room for error. We are fortunate here in Towne Lake to have access to a variety of services and products without ever leaving the area. Businesses normally are told quite emphatically when something goes wrong, but seldom hear words of thanks when things go well. Therefore, we as business owners must continuously focus on improving our services and products. If you come across a business doing something you particularly like, we would appreciate your spreading the word. After all, the best form of advertising is "word of mouth." Be positive and enjoy our community — it is a GREAT PLACE to live, work and raise a family.

Finally, we want to thank Beverly Hayes of the Atlanta Journal and Constitution for the February Lunch "N" Learn Workshop on "Effective Advertising for Your Business."

As always, we thank you for supporting our local businesses, and thus, our Towne Lake area community. And please help us "Keep Towne Lake Dollars in Towne Lake."

Wayne Kosbe, President

Doctors Emily and Larry Schadler of General Chiropractic.

Doctors Emily and Larry Schadler opened the doors of General Chiropractic in June 1997 and its sister office BridgeMill Family Chiropractic in 1999 to provide chiropractic management of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from headaches to automobile accidents.

When muscle spasm and pain occur, chiropractic intervention is often the first choice of treatment. Besides the traditional chiropractic treatments, patients benefit from a wide range of therapy options ranging from physiotherapy to rehabilitation exercise programs. According to Dr. Emily, "Our office is unique in that we work in conjunction with medical care professionals, taking a team approach, to offer the best care possible to our patients whether they are suffering from Fibromyalgia, chronic pain or acute injury."

Dr. Larry Schadler received his Associate Degree in 1988. He decided to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor and received his Bachelor Degree in Human Biology in 1993, and Doctor of Chiropractic degree in1995 from The National College of Chiropractic (National) in Lombard, IL. Dr. Larry enjoys reading, exercising, and music, and loves Wednesdays when he has the privilege of playing Dr. Mom to son, Trent.

Dr. Emily Schadler received her Bachelor Degree in 1989 in Agribusiness. She soon realized that helping people overcome health issues was what she was born to do. She then received her Bachelor in Human Biology in 1993 and her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1995 from National.

The two doctors met and fell in love while attending National and feel that they were destined to be together and to open their practice in north Georgia. They are the proud parents of an 18 month old son, Trent, who enjoys pretending to be a little chiropractor. For more information, please call 770-517-7100.
