Me Too I
and II
This is a class especially designed for our
future generation of boys and girls with a unique look at manners, good
hygiene, and presentation skills. If you would like to see your son or
daughter become a perfect little lady or gentleman, this class will help.
Me Too begins with an introduction of oneself and then moves forward to
manners, social skills, and politeness. Your child will begin a healthy
awareness and bring a greater sunshine to his/her surroundings. The class
is for children, ages 4 — 5, at the Recreation Center, and will
be held each Thursday, beginning June 6 — 27. Class time is 5 —
5:45 p.m. and the instructor will be Bernetha Mouzon. The cost for the
class will be $75 per student. For more information, contact Neely Hand
at (770) 924-7768.
Excellence I and II
The Recreation Center has developed a class
for young ladies, ages 6 — 16, to enhance the creativity and goals
of each girl. The Excellence I and II classes are designed to emphasize
ladylike skills and morals for the students. The class will introduce
each girl to excellence through posture, poise, and presentation. The
focus of the workshop is to develop a healthy disposition and attitude.
The classes will be held each Thursday, beginning June 6 — 27, time
is 6 — 6:45 p.m., and cost will be $75 per student. The classes
will be held at the Recreation Center and the instructor is Bernetha Mouzon.
For more information, call Neely Hand at (770) 924-7768.
Indoor/Outdoor Yard Sale
The Recreation Center will become one giant
yard sale on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. This is a great
opportunity to sell some of the things you no longer use. Bring your tables,
chairs, games, books, clothes, and anything your might like to be free
of taking up space at your home. The funds raised will go to new programs
and equipment for CRPA. For more information, call Neely Hand at (770)
924-7768.
American Red CrossBlood Drive
The Recreation Center will have a blood drive
on Monday, June 24, from 2 to 7 p.m. Approximately four million people
need blood each year — one person every two seconds. To donate blood,
you must be 17 or older and weigh at least 110 pounds. It is free,

Silver Roamers Club
If you enjoy meeting people, visiting sites
and having a great time, then why not join the Silver Roamers Club! The
Club meets once a month to discuss upcoming trips and to visit with each
other. Benefits of membership include discounts on all trips and chances

Ladies. This is a story about a Southern Appalachian mountain woman,
Ivy Rowe, who recounts her vibrant life laced with music and memory. Some
equally sturdy ladies assist in the telling of life in a time and place
where hardship and heartache lived side by side with beauty and love.
The cost for this trip including transportation and admission is $20 for
