Kidz Zone

Donald Kyle is the Children's Editor for The TowneLaker. He will be in Ms. O'Mara's third grade class at Bascomb Elementary in the 2002/2003 school year. Donald is also the son of Gina Carr and Don Kyle.

It's time to go back to school — so get your backpacks ready and don't forget to be safe! Here's a great back-to-school picture for you to color and a partial list of things you may want to include in your backpack. Don't forget to read the "Back to School Basics" article on bus stop safety tips.

School Supply List

- Box of 24 count crayons.

- 1 Bottle white glue.

- 1 Package of #2 pencils.

- 1 Box of washable basic color markers.

- 1 Ruler.

- 1 Small plastic pencil box to keep supplies.

- 1 Box colored pencils.

- 1 Spiral notebook.

- 1 Package wide or college rule paper.

- 3 Large pink erasers.

- 1 Pair blunt fiskar scissors.

- 1 Box Kleenex tissue.
