From the
Towne Lake
Business Association
Even though it still feels like the "dog
days" of summer, fall is upon us! This is a great time of year. Excitement
is in the air as high school and college football games begin and rivalries
are renewed. Good luck Woodstock and Etowah; play hard and make us proud!
Congratulations to our political winners
and good luck to those that are in the run-offs. We look forward to your
service to the the Towne Lake area community. Together we can continue
the prosperity and way of life toward which we have all worked. The Towne
Lake Business Association (TLBA) is committed to this goal and stand ready
to provide our input as business leaders and residents of our great community.
It's hard to believe that a whole year has
nearly passed since the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The lives of
all Americans and people the world over has forever changed since that
date. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who perished on that dreadful
day and the loved ones they left behind.
On a positive note, the TLBA continues to
grow as an organization and we are making a positive impact in our community.
We strive to focus on issues and strategies that will help our area businesses
become stronger in order to provide the highest level of services and
products for our community. To our valued customers and clients, we thank
you for your patronage.
For those of you that love golf or just like
to socialize with others, we invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual
TLBA Golf Tournament. This will be a great opportunity to get to know
other area business owners, help local charitable and community groups
supported by the TLBA or simply have a great time. More details on this
tournament have been provided at left in lieu of our regular monthly member
spotlight.
"Brand Identity and Development"
was the topic of our August workshop. We thank Terri Longfellow of Red
Berry Creative Consultancy for leading the group through the workshop.
As always, we thank you for supporting our
local businesses, and thus, our Towne Lake area community, and for "Keeping
Towne Lake Dollars in Cherokee."
