During the Holidays,
several Towne Lake area churches will host special events. The TowneLaker
has included some of these for you to consider taking your family to see
to help you remember why we celebrate the Holidays.
Bethlehem Walk

Mountain View United
Methodist Church will hold its 11th Annual Bethlehem Walk December 7 —
9 from 7 — 9 p.m. The church invites the public to take a trip back
over 2,000 years to experience the sights and sounds of the City of Bethlehem
on the very first Christmas night. There will be re-created shops, the
townspeople, the tax collectors, Roman soldiers and a live nativity. The
Walk is free to the public. For directions or additional information,

St. Michael's
Christmas Bazaar
St. Michael's Catholic
Church will hold a Hometown Christmas Bazaar on December 7 — 8 in
the Parish Hall. The Bazaar will open at 10 a.m. and will feature crafts
made by St. Michael's parishioners. Santa will be there to have breakfast
with children on December 7 from 9 — 11:30 a.m.
Christmas in Towne
First Baptist Church
of Woodstock will sponsor a community Christmas Celebration on December
1, 8 and 15. Each Sunday will feature a different holiday production followed
by a special message from Pastor Johnny Hunt. The event is free to the

Hillside Pumpkin
Patch
A Big Success
The annual Hillside
United Methodist Church pumpkin patch was a big success, according to
Hillside's Rising Tide Ministries. Thanks to the purchases and donations
from the Towne Lake area community, $2,000 was distributed among local
and worldwide charities the church is involved with. Hillside would like
to extend a big "thank-you" to all those who supported the patch.
