abused come to begin the healing process. The Center has programs supporting
emergency intervention, education and prevention designed to help break

Children's Consignment Sale
Wesleyan Fellowship Church will hold their
Annual Born Again Blessings Children's Consignment Sale at the Cobb Civic
Center. The sale will be held on Friday, February 21 from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
and Saturday, February 22 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon. Born Again Blessings
is sponsored by the Hilda Cagle Fellowship. The sale will feature children
and maternity clothing, toys, books, shoes, nursery furniture and more.

Cherokee County Senior Services
Seeking Donations for Silent Auction
The Cherokee County Senior Services, in collaboration
with the Volunteer Aging Council (VAC), is seeking donations for their
Annual Auction Gala to be held on March 8 at the Holly Springs Train Depot.
The proceeds from the event will go toward helping seniors who have little
or no means to pay for services, such as medical prescriptions, eye and
dental exams, utilities, groceries and minor home repairs. They are also
seeking sponsorships for this event. Items donated in the past have included
gift certificates from area merchants, furniture, movie passes, and antiques.

Children's Consignment Sale
Hillside United Methodist Church Mission
Trippers are seeking consigners for their Annual Consignment Sale. Proceeds
from the sale will benefit mission trips locally and around the world.
The sale will be March 21 - 22. Only high quality spring and summer children's
clothing, toys, furniture and accessories will be accepted. Seller registration

Girl Scouts Seeking Donations
Girl Scout Troop 5809 is seeking donations

community members. The donations will be used in a Spring Silent Auction.

Family Violence
Center
The Cherokee Family Violence Center is seeking
volunteers. The Center offers shelter and support groups for women and
children who are victims of domestic violence. The Center will be hosting

Habitat For Humanity
Seeks Volunteers
Cherokee County's Habitat for Humanity affiliate
is seeking volunteers to help with the construction of several new homes.
The majority of the work is performed on the weekends. Construction experience
and skills are not necessary, as each home site requires a variety of
volunteer contributions. They are also seeking financial, land and material
donations for future sites. If you are interested in helping provide affordable

for adoptions Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Off-site
pet adoptions are also held on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Saturdays at Hwy
92 PetsMart, 1st Saturday at the Animal Hospital of Towne Lake (Dr. Weaver),
3rd Saturday at Haynes Pet Center in Towne Lake, every Sunday at Hwy 92
PetsMart and the 2nd and 4th Sundays at Barrett Pkwy PetsMart. All adoptions

Seven Arrows Art Gallery, Merle Norman Cosmetic

will hold a fashion show to heighten the community's awareness of the
Goodwill store in Woodstock. The fashion extravaganza will be on Sunday,

Tea and Fashion Show
The Woodstock Women's Society's Fifth Annual
Tea and Fashion Show will be held on Saturday, March 22 from 1 - 3 p.m.
at Our Special Place located on Arnold Mill Road in downtown Woodstock.
All proceeds from the event will go to support the Emergency Children's
