Several hard working salespeople at Carmel
Elementary School won lunch and a limousine ride recently. The entire
school participated in selling Enjoy the City coupon books, and
those who sold 10 or more books were treated to the limo ride and lunch
at Stevie B's. The fundraiser, which earned more than $4,000, went toward
the building of a new baseball field at the school.
"If I Ran the
Zoo" Character Visits
Carmel Elementary
Carmel
Elementary School celebrated Read Across America in a variety of ways.
The Kindergarten classes all completed a unit on Dr. Seuss and they dressed
as their favorite character from a Dr. Seuss book. Several classes in
all grade levels had special guest readers read a favorite Dr. Seuss book,
and the Media Center played Dr. Seuss videos throughout the day.
