Chairman's Letter
As I enter my second season as Chairman of
the HPYA, I remain excited about the future of our park. My responsibilities
are filled with the satisfaction of providing a youth program for over
1,300 boys and girls to enjoy the great game of baseball and softball.
Serving as Chairman, I have been given the opportunity to work with volunteers
who donate their valuable time in support of the park. For their efforts,
I express my sincere gratitude and appreciation.
HPYA is all about providing a fair and equal
recreational outlet for our children and community. I remain committed
to this purpose and continue to build HPYA into the best community supported
youth baseball and softball program in the state of Georgia. HPYA is a
program unique in makeup and structure. Our park is a not-for-profit organization
completely self-funded through registration proceeds, corporate donations
and fund-raisers. Our park is managed and supported through 100% volunteer
time and effort.
I firmly believe the work of our Board Members,
League Directors, Coaches, Team Parents, Parents, Players, Sponsors and
others will continue to provide a family-oriented recreational program,
which continues to become a vital part of our community. I ask for your
personal support in helping me make the HPYA the best it can be for our
children and our community.
Best regards,
Byron Kizer, III
