The
TowneLaker's Sixth Annual "Be
Kind To Animals" Art Contest
The creative juices were flowing from kids
ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade and it was evident by the
wonderful drawings and paintings received during the Sixth Annual "Be
Kind To Animals" Art Contest held recently. Each year during National
Be Kind to Animals Week, CENTURY 21 Advantage and The TowneLaker
encourage kids in the community to submit an original drawing or painting
following the theme of Proper Pet Care, Animal Overpopulation,
The Importance of Spaying and Neutering a Pet or Endangered Species.
The artwork was displayed throughout May in the windows of CENTURY 21
Advantage. Cherokee County Humane Society President Felicia McAleer, CENTURY
21 Advantage co-owner Gina Carr and Cherokee County Animal Shelter Director
John Bodie judged the artwork.
Congratulations to all the entrants for an
outstanding job! Remember - Always "Be Kind to Animals."
