Helen "Gram" Meehan
is celebrating something this month that very few of us will realize in
our lifetime - on July 12 Gram will be 100 years old. What a pleasure
to visit with this lady, she is bright and cheery with a beautiful warm
smile that makes you feel like she is your "Gram" too!
Helen was born in Mississippi in 1903 and
later moved to Chattanooga, TN with her family where she attended school.
Helen's Dad joined forces with the Ford Company
and went to work for them when they first started making cars, moving
Helen, and her Mom to Detroit. They moved to Frazier, Michigan where Helen

Helen and her husband Francis had two children,
Francis and Rita Marie. Five years ago, Helen's granddaughter Kathy Dault

has three great grandchildren, Michelle, Stephanie and Mike and two great
