Towne
Lake Residents Join
the Multiple Sclerosis
150 Bike Tour
Towne Lake residents are invited to join
Scott Setter and members from Towne Lake Fitness as they raise money and
ride for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The 24th Annual MS 150 Bike Tour
will be held on September 13 and 14, covering 100 miles in 2 days. Scott
and his team plan to make a big impact on the community this year, hosting
a series of training sessions for those who want to join the ride. The
tour is fairly easygoing, beginning at Conyers Horse Park and ending at
Rock Eagle. MS is a debilitating and, in some cases, fatal disease that
attacks the nervous system. It is unpredictable, there is no cure and
over 8,000 Georgians alone are afflicted with the disease. "With everyone's
help we can stamp out MS once and for all," Scott said, "Even if you don't
plan to ride, please consider sponsoring the team, every donation is appreciated,"
he continued. Businesses can also participate in the Towne Lake Fitness
MS sponsor program. For more information, to register or to donate,
please call Scott at (770) 592-9933.
