Hey Kids!

So what was your summer like? I received these photos and captions from kids in the community.

Some of the kids were very industrious and wanted (and needed) to raise some money and were more than willing to work for it! Congratulations for a job well done and thanks for submitting the pictures.

Send your stories and pictures to: Donald Kyle, The TowneLaker, 1025 Rose Creek Drive, Suite 340, Woodstock, GA 30189. Or email me at donald@townelaker.com.

Some children in The Arbor's decided to have a lemonade stand. Profits were not great, but the spirit was Tops! Front row (left to right): Margaret Ireland and Susannah Ireland. Middle row: Caleb Butz, Paige Zollo and Ann Marie Butz. Back row: Melissa Butz.

Etowah and Woodstock High School Cheerleading Booster Clubs combined efforts this summer to provide lunch to the Cherokee County Summer school students. This was each school's fundraiser to pay for camp and uniform expenses. Several businesses within the community helped make this fundraiser profitable. Left: Kyle Mosley (left), a junior at Etowah, buys lunch during summer school from Etowah Freshman Jennifer Byers and parent volunteer Tammy Wheeler.

Some Towne Lake "cuties" (left to right): Danielle Neese, Kaitlin Neese, Mackenzie Mathews and Jensen Mathews at their pool.

Riley Palasak finished his tennis lessons and was ready to start volleying the ball at Deer Run

Several boys in Towne Lake Hills South got together to play a game of street hockey.
