Hey Kids!

Grandparents Day was officially September 7. I have two Grandmas who live very close by, and I love spending time with them!

Our schools celebrated Grandparents Day by inviting them to have lunch with their grandchildren. They got to enjoy the same food we did , and they got a chance to see what our day is like at school.

Donald Kyle is the Children's Editor for The TowneLaker. He is in Ms. O'Mara's fourth grade class at Bascomb Elementary. Donald is the son of Gina Carr and Don Kyle.

Lunch with Grandparents

"Grammy" Cherie Hawkins drove all the way from Tennessee to have lunch with her granddaughter, Isabel Trammell, who attends Bascomb Elementary School.
