Sui Feng
by Kara Kiefer
Mom is in the mood
for Thai food. Dad only wants Curry Chicken. One child wants noodles,
the other wants rice. Rather than throw up your hands in pure frustration,
try Sui Fung where the variety is large enough to please everyone's craving
- at home or the office.
Since Sui Fung advertises itself as "take
out or delivery," our office staff decided to try out their delivery.
We had four separate meals, and the order was delivered not only earlier
than originally promised, but also delivered correctly. If you've ever
had food delivered, there's nothing more frustrating than getting either
the wrong thing delivered or worse, part of the delivery left off. We
were impressed with the promptness and accuracy.
We are typical of a lot of households or
offices - we all like different things. One of us is on the South Beach
diet; one is eating low carb; one likes spicy Thai food and the other
likes spicy Chinese food. We were able to find several menu choices to
satisfy our pack of picky eaters.
Sui Fung, which opened in October, is owned
by sisters Haomin and Haoen Chen. They previously owned a restaurant in
Thompson, Georgia by the name of
Gai-lok. Haoen said their specialties include
General Tao's Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Pad Thai. The prices are reasonable,
and the portions are large enough to share. Our group particularly enjoyed
the fried rice and hot and sour soup. The spice in our Pad Thai and General
Tao's chicken was detectable but not overwhelming.
As part of their grand opening, they are
offering 10% off any order $15 or more, or 15% off any order $25 or more.
