The Art of Fashion Designing
If
you think you have what it takes or want to learn how to design clothing
like the top fashion designers, this class is made for you. Fashion Designer
Karron English will teach this class for ages 12 - 17, each Monday beginning
March 8 through May 3 from 5:15 - 6:30 p.m. For more information, contact

Watercolor
Classes
Learn
the fundamental techniques of watercolor painting. Students will learn
from demonstrations, as well as constructive critique of their own work.
This class is for ages 13 and up. Classes will be held each Wednesday,
March 17 through April 21 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The cost is $75.
Beginning
Ballroom Dancing
Have
fun while learning the Foxtrot, Waltz, Jitterbug, Cha-Cha and more. This
is a beginner class for everyone, ages 11 and up. Classes will be held
each Monday, March 1 through April 5 at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. The cost is $45.
Dance,
Dance, Dance
If
you are looking for a fun and easy way to dance and work out, the Recreation
Center is offering a dance class for those 50 and up. Choreographed dance
routines will be taught while sitting in a chair. The class will be held
each Wednesday, March 17 through April 28 from 6 - 7 p.m. The cost is
$60.
Fencing
Fun
Interested
in trying something new and fun? The Recreation Center will offer fencing
classes every Wednesday, March 17 through May 12 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Fencing
Fun is for ages 11 and older. The cost is $125. The Atlanta Fencers Club
will provide all the equipment.
Tennis
Lessons
This
is an introductory program designed for young athletes with special needs.
All ability levels are welcome to come and learn the fundamentals of tennis.
Participants must have their own tennis racket. The lessons are for ages
6 - 10. Lessons will be held at Hobgood Park every Wednesday, March 17
through May 12 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. The cost is $65.
