Also
in downtown Woodstock, Serene Bean Café, a coffee shop with
soups and sandwiches, has opened their doors in the space formerly occupied
by Alida Lois Interior Design. "The Bean" also offers a variety of gourmet
finger foods and "to go" specialties.
Christine's
Creations on Arnold Mill Road, across from Woodstock City Hall, will
be moving to a new location in mid-summer. They will occupy the space
formerly known as the 1904 House Gift Shop.
Speaking
of the 1904 House, they will be celebrating the 100th Birthday
of the house on May 15.
A
new office building will be going up on Towne Lake Parkway next
to South Bank. The project is owned by the Woodstock Development
Group, and co-developer Andrew Hartman said the building will have a historic,
rustic feel to it. Towne Lake orthodontist Dr. Michael Williams and Hartman's
law partner James Imbriale are the other co-owners and will all have offices
in the new building.
Quiznos

Lake Parkway.
Also
in the Towne Lake Center, construction has started on a nine-unit
retail facility. The units will face Buckhead Crossing.
After
just a few weeks, Club Industry has closed its doors. Owner Wayne
Kosbe said the Cherokee County Sheriff said it was a very well run, clean
teen center. "Unfortunately we could not draw the crowds from the outlying
areas to make this center work. Everyone here in the community endorsed
it completely; we just needed other communities," Wayne explained.
