Dr. Eric J. Richards first established the chiropractic wellness center, HealthSprout Spine & Wellness, in the Woodstock area in 2001. Richards is a doctor of chiropractic and holds a masters degree in exercise physiology. HealthSprout focuses on allowing the body to achieve optimal function through natural and holistic methods involving chiropractic, exercise and nutrition.

"We focus on correct posture and biomechanics, and their overall effect on the spinal column and nervous system in an effort to return the body to maximum function," commented Dr. Richards. To provide their patients with an optimal healthy lifestyle, HealthSprout Spine & Wellness initiates appropriate exercise programs and nutritional changes so their patients can enjoy their lives rather than endure the problematic life, absent of true vitality.

It is this commitment to well being which has served HealthSprout so well in the last three years. Their original location at 180 Towne Lake Parkway is now one of six Atlanta area centers. When asked what plans lie ahead for HealthSprout, Dr. Richards said, "Our goal is to help as many people as we can to understand the increased potential that can be reached through chiropractic. If it were just about back pain, we'd be content, but with the extraordinary gains that we see people achieve, it's not right to sit quietly and not spread the word."

HealthSprout's local office employs chiropractors Dr. Eric Richards, Dr. Todd Pennington, Dr. Levi Alday, Dr. Jason Gardner, Dr. Nicole Benge, two massage therapists and a clinical nutritionist. HealthSprout also participates in several community events throughout the year, providing free trigger point massages. They host the annual 5K run/walk "Chasing the Turkeys," which is held every November at Towne Lake Hills and benefits MUST ministries.

For additional information, please call HealthSprout Spine & Wellness at (770) 517-2240, or email Dr. Richards at DrEric@HealthSprout.com. Free consultations are offered for anyone interest in learning more about the holistic methods provided at HealthSprout.
