From the
Towne Lake Business
Association
The Towne Lake Business
Association (TLBA) welcomes you to "Towne Lake, the friendliest little
town in Georgia."
The political season is now in full gear,
and we at the TLBA encourage all registered voters to go out and exercise
your right to vote in the primary election on July 20. Many of the local
races will be decided then as there is no Democrat opposition.
Speaking of politics, the TLBA hosted a Political
Candidates Forum recently at the Towne Lake Community Church (TLC). Nearly
40 local residents and TLBA members and 30 candidates and their entourage
attended. Each candidate was given an opportunity to present a three-minute
speech on his or her platform, position and issues.
The TLBA would like to thank Pastor Bill
Ratlifff of TLC for allowing us to use their facility for the Forum and
Publix at Rose Creek for providing the food and beverages.
Please take a look at our calendar of upcoming
events.
