Towne Lake Business Association

The Towne Lake Business Association (TLBA) welcomes you to "Towne Lake, the friendliest little town in Georgia."

The Golf Gods were with us on Tuesday, September 28, as the TLBA hosted its 4th Annual TLBA Golf Tournament. Nearly $3,000 were raised, and these funds will go towards various projects and events benefiting our community. Specifically, two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one each at Etowah and Woodstock High Schools through our Entrepreneurial Scholarship Contest in the Spring of 2005. See page 40 for more information on this year's tournament.

On Tuesday, December 14, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., the TLBA will host its annual Holiday Gala at Featherstone's at Towne LAke Hills. All active members, their guests and anyone wishing to to learn more about the TLBA are invited. Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks and a sampling of selected wines will be provided. A cash bar also will available for other beverages. Help us ring in the Holiday Season.

Marilyn Meyer

In January 2004, Marilyn Meyer established Vibrant Living Techniques, an alternative healing center, in the Towne Lake area. Marilyn is a certified Reiki Master, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Raindrop Technician and Mental Coach. Marilyn, who is intuitive and telepathic, has a developed sense of awareness that few possess. During her sessions, especially Reiki, she gets the answers that people seek.

Marilyn teaches classes and gives full certifications in Reiki, Raindrop Technique and Body Hypnotics. Her goal is to help as many people as possible to lead fulfilling, healthy, vibrant lives and find inner peace. She currently is writing a book, Tuning In To Your Inner Healer, which teaches how to heal from within, as well as how to develop psychic/intuitive abilities and learning to live in health, joy and inner peace.

Reiki opens the flow of Universal Life Force energy, or Chi, in the body, allowing the body to heal itself.

Hypnotherapy gets to the root of a problem. While a person is under hypnosis, or a meditative state, the client can find the answers he or she seeks through the subconscious mind, which is also a direct connection to the higher self. The higher self is great to tap into for creativity, finding clarity in which direction to take for future goals and problem solving. One can heal emotional traumas, phobias, depression, sadness, anger, fear, addictions, co-dependency, self-sabotage and many other issues with hypnotherapy. Marilyn has developed the Vibrant Living Weight Loss Program, which utilizes hypnotherapy and mental coaching.

Raindrop Technique boosts the immune system and aids in detoxification. A client receives a relaxing massage with VitaFlex techniques that open the structural/electrical pathways, along with essential oils.

Marilyn resides in Towne Lake and enjoys reading, meditating, playing piano, working out, hiking and bike riding. She is an active member of the Towne Lake Business Association and is a member of the Cherokee Business Network.
