Breakfast With Santa

Come have breakfast with Father Christmas, or as everyone knows him, Santa Claus. He will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on December 4, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Parish Hall. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children and a donation of an unwrapped toy. For more information, call (770) 516-0009.

Holiday Party and Crafts

The Cherokee County Arts Council in downtown Canton will presents a Holiday Party and Crafts for youth ages 5 - 12. This event will be held on two Saturdays, December 4 and 11, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mom and dad can drop off the kids and Christmas shop. The afternoon will include holiday fun with a party, two craft projects and a visit from Kris Kringle. Ms. Crabtree and Ms. Sara from Camp Imagine will be there and returning campers receive an additional 10% off the usual rates of $32 for members and $42 for non-members. Visit Santa

Crescent Bank, located at 4475 Towne Lake Parkway, invites the community to come visit Santa on December 10, from 2 - 5 p.m. There will be refreshments and pictures with jolly old St. Nick himself. For more information, call (678) 454-2300.

Festival of Trees and
Christmas Parade

The 2004 Festival of Trees, to be held December 4 - 12, invites both children and adults to step back in time as the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta transforms into an enchanted, tree-lined streetscape. Just like a scene from "It's a Wonderful Life," the 150,000-square-foot streetscape will be alive with holiday décor exhibits; live performances; rides, crafts and attractions for kids; hundreds of trees and wreaths decorated by top designers and artists; and of course, the opportunity to tell Santa what's on this year's wish list.

In its classic style, the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade warms up the holiday season and launches this year's Festival. The Parade will be held on December 4 at 10:30 a.m. and will begin in downtown Atlanta at Peachtree Street and Ralph McGill Boulevard covering 1½ miles. More than 300,000 spectators are expected to watch as award-winning marching bands, animated floats, dance groups, celebrity guests, costumed dogs, giant helium balloons, clowns and many other surprises make their way through the streets of Atlanta. This year's Grand Marshal will be Vince Dooley, former University of Georgia football coach and athletic director.

Holiday Jubilee

The City of Woodstock and Santa are getting ready for the Annual Holiday Jubilee on Saturday, December 4 starting at 4:30 p.m. A parade will begin the festivities starting at the old Wal-Mart and ending at City Park.

Moonlight Christmas
on Main Street

Following the Holiday Jubilee Parade, celebrate the holidays with the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority and the Old Towne Merchants Association. Main Street will be decorated in all its Christmas finery for Moonlight Christmas on Main Street. There will be Christmas carolers, local acting troupes and holiday music performers.
