A Look Back at 2004
by Kara Kiefer

As we look back on 2004, there was a lot that happened in the Towne Lake area! It was an election year and once again, the district maps were redrawn. We gained one new House district, and now there are a total of four in Cherokee County. We saw a lot of new and unique businesses open in the area, and fortunately, didn't see a lot leave! We hope you enjoy this look back in time because if you're like us, the memory is becoming a precarious thing!

January:

- The Animal Hospital of Towne Lake moved to its new location on Parkbrooke Drive.
