From the
Towne Lake Business
Association
Through the support
of our wonderful members and the Towne Lake area community, the Towne
Lake Business Association (TLBA) will once again award two $1,000 Entrepreneurial
Scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded to a graduating college
or technical school-bound high school senior, one each at Etowah and Woodstock
High Schools.
Our goal is to identify those students who
have demonstrated not only academic achievement, but entrepreneurial enthusiasm
and spirit as well. If you are a senior or have a child attending either
of these schools and would like participate in our contest, please contact
your school counselors this month and ask for an application for the TLBA
Entrepreneurial Scholarship. We look forward to assisting two deserving
future leaders as they pursue their higher education. We will keep you
updated in future columns.
The topic of our February Lunch 'N' Workshop
was "Current Trends for Your Business Website." We want to thank
Brian Gibbins of Dynamic Webscapes, who led the workshop. Please take
