TLBA News and EventsOn Thursday, September 4, the Towne Lake Business Association (TLBA) will host our 8th Annual TLBA Golf Tournament with a 11:30 a.m. shotgun start at the Eagle Watch Golf Club. Proceeds will benefit our annual TLBA Entrepreneurial Scholarships, where two $1,500 scholarships are awarded, one each to a graduating college or technical schoolbound senior at Etowah and Woodstock High Schools.We need your help! If you enjoy golf and would like to join us in a worthy cause, please contact us today to sign up. You also can participate as a sponsor, contributor or volunteer. The topic of our July Lunch ‘N’ Learn Workshop was Winning at Entrepreneurship. We want to thank Raj Gavurla, Speaking Professional and Author for leading this workshop on the three critical lessons we must learn to be a successful entrepreneur. The missing ingredient for overwork, overwhelm or overload is the effective use of personal energy. Whether you are a solo entrepreneur or a corporate leader, it’s imperative to recognize the impact of personal energy on enterprise energy. This workshop’s objectives are to introduce us to the importance of enterprise energy, the four ways we refuel our personal energy and a handful of critical strategies to stay energized from his recent book I Don’t Dress Dead People.
