“The second I stepped into The Wild Orchid Salon, I was speechless! The atmosphere is that of peace and uniqueness all rolled into one. I fell in love with it immediately!” said Marcia Brooks of the Wild Orchid Salon. “Liza Goodwin, who founded The Wild Orchid just six months ago, has done an incredible job and I am so thrilled to have come aboard,” she continued.

Together, they bring more than 40 years experience in European hair designing, such as Sassoon and French cutting and coloring techniques. They are focused on continuing education and are open to learning new techniques all the time. This, in turn provides their clients with the latest in hairstyles that best suits them. Some of their services include Balayage — a French coloring technique, Balmain hair extensions, razor cutting, helix cutting, permanent straightening and all high and low-lighting combinations.
“As a hair stylist, my job entails much more then just coloring and cutting. I have experienced the excitement of cutting a baby’s hair for the first time, the sadness of shaving a client’s head after they have lost so much hair due to chemo, and the gift of giving hair to Locks of Love to make wigs for Cancer patients,” Marcia recalled. “My fondest and most touching memory though is when my dad passed away recently from cancer himself. I had the privilege and honor to cut his hair, something that meant more to me then anything, preparing him for his wake. I had been cutting his hair for 20 years and there was no way anyone else was going to do it!” she continued.
At The Wild Orchid Salon, Liza and Marcia believe in working together to perfect a combination of artistic inspiration and individual attention in a celebration of creativity and life. Their goal is to provide you with the most exquisite hair experience possible.
